About the Event
A restaurant meal is something many people take for granted. Not so for people living on the streets or on the verge of homelessness. To commemorate World Homeless Day, Doorway to Dignity and Ferndale Bible Chapel are hosting a Pots of Hope event for displaced and destitute people. Guests are served by waiters who present them with menus listing an array of delicious dishes prepared by the event’s potjiekos competition participants.
