Inspiration

Doorway to Dignity was inspired by King Bladud’s Pigs, a public art event held during the summer of 2008 to celebrate Bath, its origins and artists. Over 100 decorated pig sculptures were scattered through the streets of the city and beyond and then auctioned for the benefit of Bath’s Two Tunnels project.
